Some training insights from the Rome Summit – NET FORUM

On September 23rd a meeting took place in Rome Net Forum Summit which outlined a map of emerging themes.

Among these, we summarize some that are particularly relevant to us, which actually guide our daily operations.

  • First of all, it was reiterated that centrality of training and skills.

Training is an essential driver for both competitiveness and social inclusion.

Training is not simply the transfer of knowledge, but the creation of learning environments that stimulate people, allow for reworking, and generate well-being.

  • The relationship between technology, artificial intelligence and personalization of training.

The Italian law on artificial intelligence provides a regulatory foundation, but a parallel investment in training is needed.

AI is already a reality and can become a powerful tool for guidance and support, provided it does not replace but rather strengthens the human role.

In this sense, the personalization of training courses and the ability to reduce territorial and social gaps become crucial challenges.

  • The need for a permanent monitoring , evaluation of results.

We have a huge amount of data, but we must learn to read it, interpret it and use it.

  • Diffusion of innovative training tools also for SMEs.

We know that a significant portion of Italian businesses, especially the most vulnerable, often remain marginalized in learning practices. We need to ensure the dissemination of learning models even in smaller businesses.
