PIAZZA COPERNICO ACCREDITED BY THE LAZIO REGION FOR THE CERTIFICATION OF SKILLS 

La Lazio region, with Determine G12930 of 02/10/2023 awarded Piazza Copernico accreditation for the skills identification, validation and certification services 

The accreditation is added to the one already in force relating to training activities (Determination G08544). 

WHAT DOES THE SKILLS CERTIFICATION CONSIST OF? 

The certification of skills is a right aimed at all individuals, mainly adults, who have developed significant learning paths in their lives: 

“FORMAL LEARNING” 

Learning that takes place in the education and training system and in universities and institutions of high artistic, musical and dance training, and which ends with the achievement of a qualification or a professional qualification or diploma, also obtained in apprenticeship, or of a recognized certification, in compliance with current legislation regarding school and university systems; 

"NON-FORMAL LEARNING" 

learning characterized by an intentional choice of the person, which takes place outside the aforementioned systems, in every organization that pursues educational and training purposes, including voluntary work, the national civil service and the private social sector and in businesses; 

"INFORMAL LEARNING" 

learning which, even regardless of an intentional choice, is achieved in the carrying out, by each person, of activities in everyday life situations and in the interactions that take place therein, within the context of work, family and time free. 

HOW IS THE SKILLS CERTIFICATION SERVICE STRUCTURED? 

The skills certification service is divided into: 

for the identification phase: acquisition of the document formalizing the results in the case of a formal learning path, o acquisition of the «Validation Document» in case of learning acquired in non-formal and informal contexts; 

for the evaluation phase: provision of equipped rooms for carrying out technical interviews and performance tests, on the basis of the evaluation plan prepared by the Certification Commission, pursuant toel Legislative Decree 13/2013 and the Interministerial Decree of 30 June 2015.

Legislative Decree 13/2013 defines the general rules for the identification and recognition of skills according to unified parameters that allow the level of knowledge relating to each type of learning to be homogeneously assessed: formal, non-formal and informal;

for the certification phase: secretarial support for the preparation of the examination documentation and the "Certificate of professional qualification" according to the regional model.
