Collaboration between the University of Padua and Piazza Copernico

A strategic collaboration has been launched with the Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Padua through the signing of a Training and Orientation Internship Agreement. The initiative aims to support students in their career choices by offering direct contact with the world of work and promoting the integration of academic studies and practical experience. The agreement has a total duration of five years.

The first student involved in the project is enrolled in the Computer Science Engineering degree program. Currently working on his bachelor's thesis, he is developing an artificial intelligence model for offline, non-streaming local transcription, with a focus on process optimization, performance, and output quality.

The importance of internships in the training process

Internships are a fundamental tool for bridging the gap between theoretical training and practical application of skills. They offer students the opportunity to engage in real-world contexts, gaining a greater understanding of organizational dynamics, business processes, and the technologies used in their respective fields.

Through hands-on experience, an internship allows you to develop not only technical skills, but also transversal abilities such as problem solving, teamwork, and responsibility management. These are increasingly sought-after skills in the job market and difficult to replicate in a purely academic context.

At the same time, companies benefit from the inclusion of young talents, bringing new ideas, theoretical updates, and innovative approaches. This mutual exchange helps create a virtuous ecosystem in which education and business actively collaborate for the professional growth of the new generations.

In this sense, structured initiatives such as internship agreements represent a strategic investment, capable of generating value for both students and organizations, encouraging a more informed and effective entry into the world of work.
