HIGHLIGHTS FROM XXXV NATIONAL AIF CONFERENCE
THE CHOICE OF TO SPONSOR A HIGH LEVEL CONFERENCE
The choice to sponsor an event is always a gamble. Until the end of the works we don't know if it will be a winning bet, because there are many variables at play and the people involved make the difference.
In this case we immediately understood that we had made the right choice. The event which took place in Milan from 19 to 21 October 2023 was led by impeccable organization and saw the presence of speakers of high stature.
Ultimately, intense days full of interesting ideas, never a dull moment.
The choice of AIF was absolutely successful, condensed in the words published after the conference by Beatrice Lomaglio, "leave the stage to the experts, to those who are experimenting, to many voices who can express different points of view, to those who are looking for new paths. As trainers we decided to take a step back in order – as Luciano Floridi wonderfully told us – to be able to take a running start and make a big leap forward".
During the conference, the different points of view were effectively compared: academic, corporate, institutional and training, with the aim of producing useful reflections for guiding the decisions of companies, training bodies and institutions on the subject of applying AI to training, without ever losing sight of the person's personal and professional development objectives.
Interventions of great importance gradually followed one another. In the impossibility of mentioning everything Program of the event, we want to remember above all the effectiveness of the philosopher Luciano Floridi's puddle metaphor, the Voiceforpurpose by Prof. Emanuele Frontoni, the Lectio by Tech Philosopher Cosimo Accoto, the very interesting speeches by Marinella De Simone of the Complexity Institute and Maria Cristina Origlia of the Meritocracy Forum.
THE INTERVENTION OF PIAZZA COPERNICO
TO THE 4 HUMANS... LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE PROJECTS
Cinzia Mezzetti e Daniela Pellegrinic participated in the conference with a very pragmatic intervention, briefly presenting the experiences of using AI that Piazza Copernico has inserted and continues to insert into its projects.
Cinzia Mezzetti clarified the approach that has always guided us, that is, that i data alone leads to nothing, if there isn't an expert trainer behind it who knows where to collect it, for what purpose, in what ways.
To be usable, the data must then be read and interpreted, and therefore it is absolutely fundamental the intervention of sensibility e of the ethics of the human being.
Daniela Pellegrini then went into a little more detail about the projects on which we have already experimented (selection, access to content, tutoring, reporting, analytics).
