European Project Planning represents today the driving force for the development of the territories. In the current context, characterized by a sharp contraction in funding sources, i European funds they represent an essential tool to finance growth, the strategic development of businesses, culture and territory.

Module I: The institutional context
- The Europe 2020 strategy and the 2014-2020 programming period;
- What are the European Funds and the difference between direct and indirect funds;
- The various directly managed financing opportunities and the choice of the most suitable call for the project idea;
- International cooperation and partnership building;
- Development of the project idea with the objectives of the European policies and the main problems;
- Roles and responsibilities within a community project.

Module II: The creation of a European project
- The reference documents: the announcement, the work plan, forms and application form;
- Development of the project idea using the main European planning techniques;
- The Logical Framework of a community project;
- Work Breakdown Structure to organize activities and costs;
- The project budget: the eligible costs;
- Reporting principles;
- Contractual relations with the European Commission.

Module III: Project Work
- Study and implementation of a European project, in small groups, with reference to an open call;
- The point of view of the evaluators;
- Verification of projects;
- Presentation of European projects.
