OBJECTIVES:
COURSE FOR HEALTHCARE STRUCTURES
The following general objectives have been defined at the base of the course on the risks from the manipulation of antiblastic chemotherapy drugs:
- provide the regulatory references governing the risks from handling chemotherapy and antiblastic drugs;
- indicate the Guidelines governing the risks from handling chemotherapy and antiblastic drugs;
- illustrate methods for assessing exposure risk;
- illustrate the regulations and characteristics that must be provided in the premises dedicated to the preparation of Antiblastic Chemotherapy drugs;
- describe the characteristics that the hoods for CA must have;
- illustrate the procedures and procedures for packaging and storing CA drugs;
- analyze the Individual Protection Devices and their characteristics to be used for the handling of antiblastic chemotherapy drugs in relation to the different work phases;
- illustrate the procedures and procedures for the preparation and preparation of CA drugs;
