OBJECTIVES:

COURSE FOR HEALTHCARE STRUCTURES

The following general objectives have been defined at the base of the course on the risks from the manipulation of antiblastic chemotherapy drugs:

  • provide the regulatory references governing the risks from handling chemotherapy and antiblastic drugs;
  • indicate the Guidelines governing the risks from handling chemotherapy and antiblastic drugs;
  • illustrate methods for assessing exposure risk;
  • illustrate the regulations and characteristics that must be provided in the premises dedicated to the preparation of Antiblastic Chemotherapy drugs;
  • describe the characteristics that the hoods for CA must have;
  • illustrate the procedures and procedures for packaging and storing CA drugs;
  • analyze the Individual Protection Devices and their characteristics to be used for the handling of antiblastic chemotherapy drugs in relation to the different work phases;
