REGULATORY CONTEXT

The Supervisors, as defined by Legislative Decree 81/2008, are fundamental professional figures in the management of safety and health at work: they supervise the work activity and guarantee the implementation of the directives received, checking their correct execution by the workers. It is important to highlight how Article 299 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 considers every worker in charge who actually supervises and controls the work of other workers, even without a specific appointment, thus identifying him as a "de facto supervisor".

To perform these functions, Article 37 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 provides that all Supervisors receive adequate and specific training and periodic updating by the employer in relation to their duties in the field of occupational health and safety, training which also includes that already provided for workers ( general training lasting 4 hours and specific training lasting 4, 8 or 12 hours).

Training for Supervisors can be carried out for the General part in e-learning mode pursuant to the State-Regions Agreements of 21 December 2011 and 7 July 2016, and includes an additional part of frontal training in the classroom of a further 4 hours.
