Safety at Work: RSPP Update - Employer (Medium Risk)

The target of the course is made up of Employers who, pursuant to art. 34 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments, intend to carry out, in the cases provided for by the decree itself, the duties of the Risk Prevention and Protection Service. The course is structured according to the provisions of the State-Regions agreement of 21 December 2011, rep acts 223 and subsequent amendments, published in the Official Gazette no. 8 of 11 January 2012 belonging to the MEDIUM RISK macro-category and to the macro-sectors defined by the ATECO code:

• To agriculture, forestry and fishing
• H transport and storage
• Public administration and defense; compulsory social insurance
• P education
• Q (88) non-residential social assistance

Prerequisites: Having attended the training course for RSPP DL according to the CSR 21/12/2011 rep. acts 223

Article 34, paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 provides for the possibility that the Employer directly carries out the duties of the Risk Prevention and Protection Service (DL RSPP). Paragraph 2 of the same article provides that, in order to carry out these tasks, the employer must attend specific training courses and periodic updating appropriate to the nature of the risks present in the workplace and relating to work activities. The duration, minimum contents and modalities of this training for Employers were defined with the Agreement of 21 December 2011 and subsequent amendments by the Permanent Conference for relations between the State, the Regions and the Autonomous Provinces.

The refresher course for medium risk of the minimum duration of 10 hours, constitutes the entire amount of the Training Credit for the purposes of the mandatory five-year update pursuant to article 34 paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree no. 81 of 9 April 2008.
