WHAT IS AI ACT?

AI ACT is the first European regulation on artificial intelligence, which came into force in August 2024, and aims to ensure that AI systems used in the EU respect fundamental rights, safety, transparency, privacy, non-discrimination, and social and environmental well-being.

It establishes governance, risk management and transparency obligations, also providing for sanctions for violations.

How to learn to know it and apply it?

In an hour and a half of digital course, entirely accessible to AA level, you can learn all the fundamental topics related to the application of the AI ​​Act.

The course was curated by Claudia Sandei, Professor at the University of Padua and a European expert on technology and innovation issues.

After a general introduction to AI, the various types of artificial intelligence, and the opportunities and risks generated by its introduction, the course examines in depth the regulatory framework at global, European, and Italian levels.

It then goes on to provide a Complete guide to the AI ​​Act: from the integrated regulatory framework to the definition of the AI ​​system, to new obligations, to special regimes up to the Supervisory and Sanctioning System.

Finally, it focuses on the system of extraterritorial application of EU AI law and the overlap between EU AI law and other EU laws.

The course is also accompanied by a Final test.
