Digital technology is culture

Technology is part of our daily life, so it's not just a tool.

Digital technologies are increasingly an integral part of people's lives, both in the private and professional spheres.

Technology affects the way we relate to ourselves and to others, so in a sense it defines the way we think and act.

Digital humanism it is therefore the result of an amalgamation between our cultural heritage and a technology that has changed categories, behaviors and people, projecting them into a new environment.

Digital humanism is now the goal to be achieved: it is necessary to overcome the purely technical and digital approach, to definitively move to a anthropocentric approach.

What we discovered during the pandemic

Precisely in today's complicated context, technology has greatly helped people, helping to overcome the obligation of physical distancing and mitigating the sense of isolation.

But the heavy limitations of infrastructures have also emerged, digital literacy still too little widespread, the disparities that technological diffusion can create on a social level and the importance of human contact in all interactions.

Then a technological innovation, to truly create culture, must put the human being in the foreground.

digital education

Digital humanism acquires particular relevance when it comes to educational processes.

Innovating and digitizing the learning process is a necessary step to renew educational methods and grow individual skills.

Any training path must focus on the needs of the person who has to learn.

The digitalization of training is a must, but must always keep under control and flexibly govern all the variables that influence the relationship with his learner interlocutor, such as:

  • The configuration and security of the available infrastructure
  • The level of digital literacy
  • The individual's ability to respond to the speed of change
  • The simplicity of use
  • The desire and the ability to collaborate
  • The contamination of disciplines from a transversal perspective
  • The individual starting skills

Our challenge in Piazza Copernico has always been to design complete E-learning solutions, offering methods and tools for one training focused on the needs of individuals, and making the acquisition of knowledge increasingly available and simple.

We have a dream
