On Thursday 24 November 2022, Syria Dimonte graduated in Degree Course in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Techniques of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Tor Vergata with a thesis entitled "COGNITIVE REMEDIATION INTERVENTION ORIENTED TO THE NETWORK OF SEMANTIC SKILLS FOR PATIENTS BELONGING TO THE PSYCHOTIC SPECTRUM".

The second degree thesis to which Semanticase contributed during 2022.

Our Semanticase software, as usual, has been made available free of charge to support – in this case – the analysis of the audio recordings for verifying the results of the therapy in patients on the psychotic spectrum (comparison of results in T0 and T1 and with control group). The therapy concerned the standard cognitive treatment to which were added cognitive exercises of semantic differentiation, in order to improve semantic skills in cognitive-functional domains such as language, reasoning, abstraction and metacognitive aspects.

In addition, a language analysis study was conducted in 56 people divided into four groups:

  • control group (without any psychiatric disease),
  • group of people with psychosis,
  • groups of people with anxiety disorders,
  • group of people with depression.

The collaboration plan with the Universities will continue in 2023, with many new students who will be able to use Semanticase in the context of their degree theses.
