FOCUS ON PREDICTIVE TUTORING AND LEARNING ANALYTICS
PIAZZA COPERNICO PRESENT WITH A KEYNOTE AT PLT – 2nd Conference of Psychology Learning and Technology
The second Edition of PLT, organized by the Department of Humanities of the University of Foggia took place in hybrid form on November 17-18, 2022 in Foggia and online.
Daniela Pellegrini and Sara Zuzzi from Piazza Copernico, together with Mario Santoro from IAC, presented an interesting Keynote during the first day of the conference:
The speech wanted to highlight the need to combine metrics for measuring training with metrics that measure the effectiveness of learning.
This means measuring not only the classic variables (duration, percentage of completion of the course, etc.) but also the learner's training experiences, the adequacy of the contents with respect to the professional path, the achievement of the learning objectives, the level of of skills.
The authors then illustrated the correct methods for effectively using theAI in tutoring activities, avoiding risks and biases.
